This is the best experience for me ever taking courses, it is blend of technical and practical experience to gain technical fluency and advanced Scrum. Thanks to Dave and Technical for this disruptive approach to Scrum Certification. That is indeed break from the norm.

I recently completed the certification courses created by Dave Westgarth, and I have to say they were excellent. Each module — - AI and Modern Systems - Cloud Foundations - Data & Analytics - DevOps & CI/CD — was well structured, practical, and thought‑provoking. The questions really made me pause and reflect, and I walked away with new skills I can apply right away. Big thanks to Dave for putting together such a valuable learning experience. Highly recommend these courses to anyone looking to strengthen their tech foundation.

The Technical Scrum Master (TSM-1) certification offers a concise and practical introduction to the technologies shaping modern product delivery — including Cloud, DevOps, Data, and AI. As a Product Owner, I found the course particularly valuable for strengthening collaboration with engineering teams and better understanding the technical context behind delivery decisions. The content is clear, well-structured, and easy to follow. I would highly recommend it to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and anyone working closely with modern development teams.

Even after 10+ years working as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach, and coming from a technical background, I found this course extremely valuable. Its clear, simple structure highlights the real purpose of the Scrum Master role. The real sprint scenarios, everyday-life analogies, and reflection questions at the end of each section make it very practical. They push you to evaluate your current practices and identify improvement opportunities. If I had to summarize the course in one sentence, it is almost like: “What questions a Scrum Master should ask to reduce delivery risk and enable efficient value creation and why.”

First of all, thanks for highlighting an important gap in this role. Having worked in delivery setups for the past six years, I was already familiar with many of these concepts, but it was still extremely valuable to revisit and refresh them. I often wish something like this had been introduced earlier in my career, especially during the initial years when I sometimes felt out of place in meeting rooms. Regarding the content, the examples and scenarios are extremely relatable. At times it genuinely felt like a camera had been placed over my routine. The language is very clear and easy to comprehend, which will especially help people who are just starting in this field. One suggestion I would offer is to include links to recommended courses or videos in the “What’s next to learn” sections. In today’s environment, with so much information available online, many people feel overwhelmed and unsure about where to start. Looking forward to seeing what you share next with the community.

This course was curated by Dave specifically for Scrum Masters to help them understand technical jargon and the nuances of key concepts such as Cloud Foundations, AI & Modern Systems, DevOps & CI/CD, and Data Analytics. I highly recommend this course, as it serves as a valuable addition to our knowledge and helps strengthen our technical understanding.

As there is much debate about whether a Scrum Master should be technical or not, the TSM1 certification allows us to settle the debate. This high-level overview of current technical topics is very practical, well structured, highly educational and reflects the current reality of Scrum Masters. Thank you to Dave Westgarth for his efforts. This is highly relevant in the current context.

Thank you Dave for this program. Even though I have overview about all 4 topics in this program, there is so many information everywhere and everything is changing so fast, that it is difficult to find the right piece of information. This program helped me to learn how to approach these areas from Scrum master chair. It is cool to know the framework, work in sprints, keep Jira up to date, but knowing at least basics of what my team is developing, helps to ask the right questions and lead the team the right direction to reaching their commitments. I am looking forward to the next level :)

If you’re looking to add more value and contribute on a deeper level as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead, the Technical Scrum Master I course is an excellent starting point. You don't need a deep technical background to handle the technical challenges that pop up in your teams. What you do need is curiosity. We might not need a Cloud Architect or DevOps certification, but if our teams use these tools, we owe them the effort to understand the basics. Because I don't have a deep technical background, the brilliant real-world analogies used throughout this course were exactly what I needed to make complex concepts finally click. I really resonated with the content. In my current teams, we regularly deal with Terraform, containers, and the challenge of defining success criteria to actually consider an AI feature "Done". Seeing these exact scenarios covered made this an amazing refresher. This training gives you exactly what you need to follow technical conversations, help resolve impediments, and facilitate discussions that actually mean something.

What I appreciated most was how practical this was. The micro-credentials are short enough to fit around a busy job, but substantial enough to change how you think. Technical Scrum filled a gap I didn’t realise I had. I’ve worked with engineering teams for years, but this is the first course that really helped me understand the language of cloud, data, DevOps and machine learning in a way that connects directly back to Scrum.

Technical Scrum is the right initiative at the right time. As Scrum Masters we need to step up our game in how we deliver value to the teams we're working with, and it starts with being able to connect with them and the daily situations they're facing. The courses are fun, very practical - even for non (yet) technical people, concepts about Data, AI, Cloud or DevOps are explained with concrete examples and metaphors that make it very easy to understand. If you can already learn about it online, these courses are specifically targeted for Scrum Masters, highlighted how what we should focus on and how we can use these learnings in our day-to-day job. The exam is not only technical, as it also touches upon the global aspects of being a Scrum Masters. Looking forward for the TSM2!

This learning is well designed, really interesting and engaging. The track is thoughtfully structured, practical, and supports deeper learning and reflection. Can't wait for TSM-2 and will be glad to support and contribute to its further development.

Great user experience - simple to use and navigate Learning content has consistent headings for the micro credentials addressing the what and why the topics are important Suggestion on the questions part - have a flag or star feature so users can "mark" or "easy to identify" those questions for review, if needed The actual TSM exam is actually 1 hour time limit but the intro page stated "unlimited" time Understand there are badges, not sure if these have a link similar to Credly badges

A really fun experience. The combination of four free certifications into a larger one in genius and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended for all Scrum Masters.

The Technical Scrum program has been one of the most valuable and practical learning experiences I’ve taken part in. What stood out immediately was how clearly the course connects Scrum theory to real‑world delivery challenges—dependencies, flow metrics, DevOps integration, and cross‑team alignment. Rather than teaching Scrum as a set of ceremonies, it focuses on the mindset, behaviours, and system conditions that make teams genuinely effective. The scenarios and assessments are especially strong. They push you to think like a modern Scrum Master: diagnosing organisational constraints, improving transparency, strengthening psychological safety, and enabling continuous delivery practices. The content goes far deeper than exam prep—it builds the kind of judgment you need to operate confidently in complex environments. I also appreciated how the course reinforces empiricism and evidence‑based coaching. Concepts like MTTR, lead time, technical debt economics, and pipeline maturity are explained in a way that’s immediately applicable to real teams. It’s rare to find a Scrum course that blends Agile, DevOps, and product thinking this well. Overall, Technical Scrum is an excellent program for anyone who wants to move beyond textbook Scrum and develop the skills needed to support high‑performing, resilient delivery teams. Highly recommended.

I would like to thank Dave Westgarth and Technical Scrum for starting this pathway to more technical prowess for Scrum Masters. With Technical Scrum Master I being the achievement where the 4 micro-credentials lead to. The lessons of the micro-credentials were interesting, yet I have to confess that I already had some knowledge in these 4 domains. Still I truly liked the connection of these 4 domains to the duties of the Scrum Master. Also making the TSM-1 exam from the perspective of how a Scrum Master should react was the real stroke of genius.

Easily better than PSM 1 cos of its rigour and real-life scenarios that a scrum master could be involved in. This is also aligned to the Scrum Guide 2020 and it can serve as a good preparation for those wanting to attempt PSM 2/PSM 3. TSM 2 gonna be another great product!
