What TSM-1 validates
The Technical Scrum Master 1 certification validates foundational technical literacy across the four domains that define modern software delivery. It is designed specifically for Scrum Masters and delivery professionals who work alongside technical teams, not to turn them into engineers, but to give them the context they need to be genuinely effective.
TSM-1 holders have demonstrated that they understand how cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, CI/CD systems, and AI tooling work at a conceptual level, and more importantly, what that means for their role. They can ask better questions, surface real risks, and facilitate more meaningful conversations about the work.
TSM-1 is an entry-level cross-domain credential. TSM-1 is designed to complement existing certifications not to replace them. The primary focus is closing the technical gap that many other certifications leave open.
